Do you make under 7000 litres of cider a year and produce within 15 miles of the Green Scythe Fair? Then this is your invitation to enter one of Somerset’s most wonderfully local competitions.

A celebration of traditional cider making, local orchards and the brilliant people quietly producing proper cider across Somerset.
Whether you’re pressing a few barrels for friends or crafting something truly special, we’d love to see what’s fermenting in your corner of Somerset.

Cider Bar
We will be running a local cider bar in the cider tent. If your cider is made within a 15 mile radius of Thorney Lakes, we would be interested in stocking your product. This would have to be in a draught capacity.
We would also appreciate help with serving behind the bar.
