Volunteers from the David Hall arts centre in South Petherton will once again be running the acoustic music stage with a fantastic line up of performers and bands. A great place to chill out and eat your lunch while enjoying the music.

 The Rambling Pitchforks

Rambling pitchforms.png

The Rambling Pitchforks have been playing Irish music for Irish Set dancing, functions, and general craic for a decade or so.

They are often to be found in pub sessions in central Somerset. All of us are steeped in Irish traditional music, and have learned from some of the best practitioners of our instruments in Ireland and Britain.

We do sets with a lively 'session vibe', and play for dancing.

Circle of Moon

Circle of moon.png

Circle of Moon is the moniker of soft-spoken song peddler Martin Sheills. Drawing from such diverse influences as Morrisey and the Smiths, Billie Holiday and Tom Waites, he combines them to form a sound which oscillates between driven contemporary folk and understated jazz, fusing at times melancholic, funny, surreal and wistful lyrics with hushed vocals and lilting harmonica melodies

Plum Loco

Firmly rooted in the less is more, Plum Loco perform Lisa's genre-fluid original songs which she sings and plays on her guitar with Nick adding tasteful snare and percussions.
